Harsh snowed-in winters, an artistic family and a mom that did not allow the word 'bored' in her home incited an influx of art creations using diverse objects and canvases from all over our household. With a window view of Monticello, New York's Catskill Mountains many oil paintings, watercolors, poetry, and other art media were imagined and created. My creative passion only intensified after moving to Alabama where I discovered more of nature's marvelous canvas. Now in Washington State with prolific views, possibilities to create are endless.
An early childhood love and appreciation for nature inspired an extensive study of varying art genres. Equipped with a BS in Liberal Studies (ASU, AL), a Masters's degree in English (UAH, AL), and formal instruction by Sculptor-Artist Gail Bergeron (The Trail Where They Cried), one-of-a-kind art pieces and presentations are created in many forms: abstract, landscape photography, poster design, sculpture, room design, staging, writing poetry and song lyrics.
My lifelong desire is to share my take on beauty through art in diverse forms. Encouraging legacy through art is my dream. Promoting an 'out-of-the-box' experience using non-conventional tools is my challenge. My ultimate goal is to educate the masses on their ability to create memorable art.
